Your Role
The Sr. Principal Enterprise Business Architect is a strategic individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director of Business Architecture & Innovation Product Strategy. This senior member of the IT and Enterprise Architecture organization will be responsible for developing enterprise architecture strategy for current and future go-to-market products. The role encompasses representing the business, information, application, and technology domains.
Key responsibilities include leading the creation and maintenance of enterprise business capability architecture blueprints and integrated roadmaps that guide product development, strategic investments, and support sales activities. This role will directly support Product Architecture Strategy and Product Roadmaps, working cross-functionally with product leaders, prospective clients, and IT delivery teams.
This position is critical in driving go-to-market technology product strategy and roadmaps, pre-sales solution architecture, client implementation planning, financial analysis (ROI/TCO) and developing future state architecture for new market facing products.
Your Knowledge and Experience
- 12+ years relevant business and IT experience
- 3+ years of experience of working in the healthcare industry
- 5+ years of architecture practice experience
- 3+ years of experience of go-to-market product strategy
- Advanced knowledge of Product Management, including Go-to-Market Product strategy and planning
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively collaborate with and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Prior experience in portfolio investment planning
- Prior experience defining and analyzing enterprise business capabilities
Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is: $ 172260.00 to $ 258280.00 for California.

Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
